I don't double butter my toast, but I do nuke buttered toast for 25 seconds, otherwise the pats of butter never melt.

I use Kerrygold soft butter and get it on the toast as soon as it comes out of the toaster. No second helping of butter.
And that photo of her looks like someone wearing a Nigella Lawson mask. Gah!
 
We just went to pick up our fresh turkey from the local turkey farm. Usually, the turkey barn has fewer than 10 live ones left in it. This year it was packed. I think a lot of people aren't doing turkeys this year because of Covid/no traveling.
 
Tomorrow is my birthday, so I have to do the traditional turkey dinner (or as close to it as we can come). So, tonight I got my "fun" dinner! Escargot with garlic and butter with a salad topped with Swiss dressing.

I remember when they changed the recipe. Like the article says, the new ones pale in comparison to the old, beef tallow fries. And I suppose it's obvious, but there really two guys named McDonald who started the business. I didn't know Ray Kroc was an outsider at first.
