Random Music Thoughts

A few years before his death, the neurological disorder ALS, also known as Lugeric’s disease, slowly acquired the ability to play musical instruments.

I wonder what they meant to say. I probably should have cited to the article from the OC Register, but their paywall is aggressive.

Little known fact: Lugeric's disease was identified by doctor Al Cimers from the Mayo Clinic.

If this article didn't exist, the universe would soon create it.

Note that I’m not predicting that CDs are poised for a comeback. To the contrary, the final pillar of my argument depends on that not being the case. Perhaps the best thing about CDs is that they have gotten ridiculously affordable. Thank you, supply and demand. At the used music stores where I live, almost all the CDs are $5 or less. Even new CDs are far cheaper than they were two decades ago. You could pay $35 to own the new Adele album on vinyl—or $9.97 to have it on CD, with money left over to buy two or three more albums.
Damn, Dude, our secret is out.

So let the masses stay hooked on streaming while the hipsters spin their overpriced records. The CD is dead; long live the CD.
Hell, yeah!

Also, hipsters, get a clue. Spin the cheaper records.

Some worthy folk (I actually though Eminem was in already)
I still don't know why they don't even put Iron Maiden, Jethro Tull, or The Smiths on the original list anymore - they might not get the "fan vote" but they deserve to be listed :(
