The Special Consensus - 25th Anniversary (rec. 1979-2000)

An interesting concept for a career retrospective: 8 songs dating back to their first album plus a whole new one. It's all fine traditional bluegrass.

Echo And The Bunnymen - The Stars The Oceans And The Moon

I only post this listen because the second track is "The Somnambulist" and it reminded me of not someone.
Might want to listen to this too, then. It will help your mellow mood.
My contribution to this sleep-inducing line of thought:

Son, Ambulance ~ Someone Else's déjà vu (2008)

Sylvia's Ghost ~ Blue Highway (1996)

I have enjoyed this album for years, but it (and the band, which is from Portland) never caught fire.

I post it today, because the POTUS tweeted this a few days ago.

Portland is being watched very closely.

Since I am confident none of you will ever hear this (dearly-departed) album unless I post a few songs, here ya go:

I'll spoil-yer-eyes (spoilerize?) these videos. Please listen to as many as you may like. I love the guitar and effects work.

Savoy Brown - City NIght (2019)

Very much a replay of 1970's rock. That was a good time for rock so I want to like this. But it feels like Simmonds hasn't learned any new tricks over the past 50 years. It's a little disappointing. I have to admit I haven't listened to much of the band's work over the years, so I may be taking this out of context.
