It's more bluesy rock than blues. If that's your wheelhouse, by all means do!

FYI the aforementioned Cincy Blues album is acoustic guitar blues - much resonator and slide. Sonny's Blues is grungy, southside electric guitar blues. I haven't listened to much else yet.
