Never liked Brendan O'Brien's production on this one or Bruce's next album - luckily I've heard many of these songs live where they gain some life. Contains what I feel is Bruce's best song over the past 20 yrs "Long Walk Home". Despite that, it's not consistent enough to be my 2007 pick

August Greene - August Greene (2018)

Collaboration between rapper/actor Common, Jazz pianist Robert Glasper, and drummer/HipHop producter Karriem Higgins. For at least this one album, a combination like that pulled it off and created a very nice album that doesn't sound like a clunky mashup of styles. Very nice!
