Here's some bar trivia for you, if you don't know already: "Star Star" is an odd title, isn't it? Listen to the lyrics. Then realize that the record company made them change the song title from the original "Star Fucker" for the album cover.

I did indeed know that - fun fact

Unfortunately, bar trivia is a "young man's game" - I'd love it if they asked more about the 50s-80s.
The other day they asked who had a hit in 2001 with a remake of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal"? I guess at 17 yrs it's old music now

Though the past two games they asked which two Beatles were left handed (I only got one) :( and which former Beatle had solo hits with "Back Off Boogaloo" and "The No No No Song"

Alien Ant Farm for the "Smooth Criminal" question

Paul and Ringo - did not know about Ringo

and of course Ringo with the solo hits

I got all three! Woo hoo!
You should post more of your Trivia Night questions.

The Rolling Stones - Emotional Rescue (1980)

15 albums later and hitting the Stones first misstep which is pretty incredible if you think about it (I would not include Satanic's Majesty as there's a lot to like on that one and the rest at least finds the boys going in some intriguing directions).. And Emotional Rescue is not a bad album just a so-so one made up (as is the upcoming Tattoo You with better results) of leftovers from the past few albums' recording sessions. "Dance (Pt. 1)" is a cool opener, and of course there's "She's So Cold" and the title track. I really enjoy "Summer Romance too" but the middle of the album just is, well, ordinary with nothing that grabs your interest.

I loved the Tubular Bells album. I never got into much more of his work. How is this?
I haven't listened to his entire oeuvre since Tubular Bells. If I had, I would consider myself a completist.

Still, I have heard Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn, the two albums immediately following TB. Those were very good, IMO.

This is a bit more New Age, with a strong Celtic flair or flavor, I have listened to it only once so far, but I like it more than I :meh: it.

There are a small number of 4-star and 5-star reviews for it, and Oldfield still has a following, of sorts. Ima give it :3.5: for the time being.

Karsh Kale ~ Liberation (2003)

ETA: Why do I think this is ridiculously good?
