Bruce Springsteen (with the Seeger Sessions Band) - Live New Orleans Jazz Fest April 30, 2006

Though not Bruce's usual material, the Seeger Sessions material was great for this venue at the return of Jazz Fest post-Katrina

Jabuti ~ Outro Ar (1997, 2004)

I was listening to some grungy electric guitar driven blues rock and it was hampering my concentration. Normally I'd switch to classical in that moment. I remembered your description of this and decided to spin it instead. It's delightful and perfectly amicable to the concentration my work requires this morning. Thumbs up.

I have the studio version of this. I really enjoy it. If I remember correctly, he got a bunch of his wife's acoustic musician friends into his house, some in the living room, some in the den, etc. and ran mics all over the house to record them all live-in-studio.

Not concentrating on the lyrics, due to its being in another language, can be a boon to the overall listening experience.

Drunken Butterfly ~ L'ultima risata (2010)

This, again. Sublime, well-executed Post-rock from Italy.

It's available on Spotify; my CD arrived in the mail today from England.
