The Cosmic Trip Advisors - Wrong Again Albert
View attachment 2982
In the old days, when the entire band used nicknames, it was sometimes to be able to record together despite being contracted to different labels. "No, boss, that wasn't me on that record. You must be mistaken." I didn't do the research on this band but it reminded me of those days.
It reminds me of Margot Robbie's character in Suicide Squad.Love that artwork!!

The faster tracks, like the lead off Oh My My My! are exactly what I used to listen to in my teens and 20's. My brain doesn't have that much adrenaline anymore but I much more enjoyed the slower tracks, like Lonely Since I Met Ya and Feeling Low. Firecracker Blues had an interesting old school vibe that I enjoyed. That track got saved to a playlist. What did you think of the music?

I don't disagree. The tracks that sounded like 1975 - conventional is almost the word, but they're not even really conventional - almost throwback. Every bar band has songs like that. And the slow ones I liked, you could definitely call them polite. I think it's why I liked them better. That's funny, because even though I liked it a lot, I found the album on the whole to be too polite and conventional sounding. I prefer things that are edgier and more experimental.
on the Sam-O-Meter. Never a dull moment, as Rod might say.
