This was Ol' Ern's 83rd and final album for Capitol. I suspect that the count is inflated somewhat by 45 rpm EP's and endless repackages. Nevertheless, his 27 consecutive years and 697 recordings with the same label will never be surpassed. By the pop country standards of the late 70's this is a pretty damn good record.
Young man Mose's first solo outing finds him in a trio with Taylor La Fargue and Frank Isola. "Blues" would be remade as the anthemic "Young Man Blues" by The Who.
