Trinity River Band - Better Than Blue (2014)

Contemporary bluegrass at its finest. The vocals of Sarah Harris-Hall are as striking as she is.

Hans Joachim Roedelius & Tim Story ~ Inlandish (2008)

Ambient, Modern Classical

ETA a review on Amazon:
"If Tim Story had a leading role on Lunz, Inlandish is predominantly a Roedelius album, and a marvelous one at that, harking back to the glory days of the Selbstporträt lp's and the collaborations with Dieter Moebius and Brian Eno - Begegnungen and After the Heat. Yes, it's that good."

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - And Now for the Whatchamacallit (2019)

This fellow Australian band sounds a lot like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I checked and they share no personnel, but if you had told me they had the same singer, I would've believed you. The style is also similar, but PPC is less self-indulgent. This is a very good album.

Hands Down Eugene ~ Madison (2006)

Indie Rock

This is one of the earliest items I received via lala. I still like it, but damned if I can explain why.

Gertie Fox ~ An Imaginary Meeting in the Woods (2006)

Indie Rock, not Garage Rock Revival. This is not tight, bearly focused, and adequately played. Not unsloppy, but meanders through the forest in a very lo-fi Indie Rock way.
